<p>Inspired by the idea of observing personal space and stress in the urban environment, Urban Sonar is a wearable system that logs and visualizes proximity and heart rate over the course of a day, that <a href="http://www.itp.nyu.edu/~ss3830/">Sai <span class="bodytext"><span class="heading">Sriskandarajah</span></span></a>, <a href="http://itp.nyu.edu/~kh928/blog/">Kate Hartman</a> and I created. Check out our logged personal space and heart rate in the <a href="http://www.urbansonar.com">urban sonar visualizer</a>. Here&#8217;s a <a href="http://videoblast.itp.tsoa.nyu.edu/vlogs/show/2006/12/19/kati-london-sai-sriskandarajah/" target="_blank" title="urban sonar video">video</a> of Sai and I talking about the project, care of <a href="http://pouringdown.tv/?page_id=2" target="_blank" title="urban sonar daniel liss">Daniel Liss</a> and <a href="http://www.parismarashi.com/" target="_blank" title="urban sonar paris marashi">Paris Marashi</a>.</p>
