    I found a series of awesome scientific animations at the bottom of the following page. They integrate photography and computer generated images to show a progression in time and scale. The level of resolution that can be achieved by combining these micro/macro images alters perception of scale in weird ways.

    In addition the skeletal animations on this page are really great. Another film I’ve always loved and thought of as animation is ‘The Powers of Ten’ by the Ray and Charles Eames .
